I had been adding that in the Marriage Notes -- what are the advantages to
having Witnesses in an Event instead?

I add a Marriage event for the official witnesses to the marriage.

Anything related to the marriage and/or couple. Honeymoon would be a good one
<g>. Until the programmers can add the Marriage Picture to reports, you could
create an event for the wedding picture you wnat to include on reports or web
pages.

Also, you can use the Marriage Events to record Marriage Banns, license, notice,
pre-nups or other contract, residences of the couple, alt. marriage dates or
locations (when you find a conflict - don't forget to create a To-Do to search
for the correct info)

You could also include any separation information if the marriage fails -
divorce, etc.

Sincerely,
Sherry
