I experimented and found the answer - use ANSI character set. I am sure this
was the default last time I did an export.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Gedcom export changing spelling of place names

I am attempting to export a GEDCOM from Legacy. Using V 7.5.0.166. Produce
file for Legacy. Character set used default of ANSEL. It changes names like
Grünz to Grèunz; née to nâee.

I have done this operation countless times before without this happening
(last time was a few months ago). What is going on?

Regards,

Jennifer
