The screen size on my Kindle Fire is very adequate. My phone is
another issue, but since my Kindle Fire is always by my side.... I
only use the phone for apps if I need internet connection and wi-fi
for the Kindle isn't available.

When I plan a research trip, I take my 13" laptop so I can enter right
into Legacy and it's much more convenient to type on. The onscreen
keyboard on mobile devices is really slow to use if you're a touch
typist, although I'm getting faster if I have the Kindle Fire situated
so I can type with two fingers instead of one.

Having a smaller laptop for the field is nice and I definitely don't
feel as if I'm "lugging it around".

But the app on Kindle Fire is great for those unexpected research moments.

Sincerely,
Sherry
