Well, I see that my email client made an even
different change to those characters!!  X;{
==================

Legacy does a good job normally when I use
letters with diacritical marks, as found in
languages other than English. However, it's
special characters do not include some characters
found in the Irish language; e.g. ô, î, and â:
i.e. small letters o, i and a with a bar over the
top, such as a "long o", "long i", and "long a"
that you would find in an English dictionary or pronunciation guide.

I import my Legacy file into TNG. I can edit
these words in TNG and the correct characters,
and TNG will display them properly. But when I
try to copy and paste the correct characters into
Legacy, it changes the straight bar into a small
inverted "vee". So when I import that file into
TNG, it changes the characters I entered directly into TNG.

Is the a way to work around this? I hope I have explained myself adequately.
