If you go to the location list, click on the location you want, click Edit, and
a box will pop up with long location / short location and a Notes box. The
only trouble is, as mentioned in my previous message, I’m not sure how to make
them appear in a report (other than by using a location index). Yet I have
previously created reports which have included the location notes as part of
the report – I just don’t know how.

A question on notes for a location, where do you write these notes. I have some
historical information on some locations I would like to add to the location
and not an individual but do not know where to put them?

Thanks.

Thanks Kevin, I had actually seen that after I sent my query – but I have never
used a location index, and the location notes appeared in the body of the
report, not an index. I’m mystified.

I have just reviewed a pdf Descendants Narrative Report that I created some
time ago. I notice that Location Notes are printed. To my knowledge I've
never changed a setting so that will happen - but the Descendant Narrative
pdf report I created today does NOT have Location Notes. Could someone
please point me in the direction of the setting to have Location Notes
print?
