The note taking thing was just a random little blurb within the thread; it
was 'related' because the discussion was about Families and taking it to a
repository to record the information found there. The person asked about
note taking while at the library; good grief folks, we're all just trying
to help each other, right?

I'm guessing we should be 'note taking' right in Families - click on the
individual and then go down to 'notes' and 'edit'. My phone (Iphone4s)
supports speaking into the phone and it types what you say (if you speak
clearly haha!) so I tested that out with the Families app in the Notes area
and it worked really well! But then I really didn't want to be merging my
Families file back to my original file so I'm not sure how to overcome
that. That's probably why that whole 'non Legacy/non Families' subject
came up perhaps? But if you are merging your files, that is perfect

I wonder if one day they could update it so that you could merge ONLY the
to do lists? That would be nice. Then you could record what you found and
close your to do items right there and merge only that portion.

Also, I haven't found where to access the Individual To Do items in
Families; only the General To Dos? That is important as I have just
started a new 'procedure' for this and am marking them in the Individual
section; I will need to rethink this if it isn't accessible in Families.

Either way, I'm loving the Families app more and more all the time; and I
use it at home whenever I'm on my laptop because it's so easy! Kathy
