All children are linked to the marriage record of their parents.  If the 
marriage record only has one spouse, then that's what you put in.  A marriage 
record does not mean there is a marriage but a record which connects two people 
in an arrangement usually formalized by marriage.  Sometimes the unknown spouse 
is entered as Given Names = "Unknown" until you discover what the name is.
