No, you will not have to change the locations on the individuals. Admittedly, I haven't read all the posts about your clean-up process, but if the "bad" location was successfully combined into the "good" location, then everyone who had the "bad" location attached to an event will have the remaining "good" location in the place field now. --Paula

From a quick glance just now, it seems that might be necessary. If the locations are still wrong under each person, it makes sense that they would reappear in the Master Location list.
