You're correct, each sync is the same - you're copying the current version of
your family file to the mobile device each time.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Syncing my Legacy file with the Families app

Hello,
I am still trying to sync(update) the data in Families with my desk top file.
I previously was able to have my file display in Families and as far as I
know,it worked fine.
I ran into problems/questions updating my Family file, and thanks to the
suggestions here,I was able to update Families. But I am not sure if I am
understanding it correctly.
My question, Is the sync(update) process the same as the initial "loading"
process for a new file?
except that I am just replacing an older .sqlite file, with an current .sqlite?
Essentially, writing a new file each time I want to update Families?
I'm not complaining but I was looking for a streamlined "sync" process, not a
"new" load each time.
Did I miss something, I just want to know that I am doing this correctly.

Thanks for the further assistance,
Brian
