Noddie, Mike, Adding a source citation to the marriage details WILL highlight the source Icon on Family View. The Events icon will highlight only if you have created an event in the marriage information screen and is listed in the Events/Facts box. ie a Residence, census or other event. Russ

Just entering marriage details, which is what you seem to have done, does not have any effect on the list of events. It only results in information appearing under the couple on the Family page. Adding a source citation to the marriage details also doesn't make itself apparent on the Family page. Your query seems to be confusing several aspects: basic data, sources and events. A description of the exact steps you took - screens used (read the title bars), buttons pressed, data entered in which fields - would go a long way to removing this confusion. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
