Hmm! Sorry, I don't understand metafile copies and the implications of that,
however, I just created an rtf version of a Descendant Narrative Report, and I
got a blank page after the Title Page. Without changing anything I then
created a pdf version and had no blank pages.
But, quite aside from your issue - what I did notice was that the first time I
created both the rtf, and the pdf versions I got my event pictures - but when I
went in to report options, Include Event Pictures was mysteriously unchecked.
Tried again, got pictures after I reselected the option. Closed that report,
created another one without doing anything to options - no pictures!! The only
good thing is that Support has said they can reproduce the non-sticking event
pictures option and are supposedly working on it.

Cheers

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Blank Page in Reports

Jan ...

That's all good and dandy. Here is my situation. Legacy unfortunately only
makes Metafile copies of reports via clipboard one page at a time. For
emailing purposes, it would take an inordinate amount of time to copy a 100+
page report for mailing. Instead, I copy the multi-page report into PDF (which
I could email) and then convert the report via Nitro PDF Software to a useable
DOC or RTF file format for emailing. BTW, the PDF output also produces the
confounded blank second page. Is there really no way to get rid of it? People
are beginning to ask me, and I don't have an answer.

Ciao ...
Richard
