To copy a source with the detail as well: Go to the source that you wish to copy, in the relevant person's "List of Assigned Sources". Then "copy source to clipboard" (click icon in bottom left corner). Go to the person to whom you want add the source, and open their "List of Assigned Sources". Click on the relevant event to highlight it. Click on the icon that is immediately above the clipboard icon- the source will 'pop up'. Click save.

I cannot find any way to export or import sources. I have also tried to use the source clipboard between two different files in split screen, but that does work because each file has its own clipboard.
