There are times when posts do disappear into the waste bin in the sky for 
reasons best known to a soothsayer.

The varying times of arrival of posts often have little to do with the ISPs at 
either end but more with the routes which they have taken to arrive at your 
inbox. Each post uses whatever paths are available, not necessary a direct line.
