It happens a lot. The key is to not click on the links in these emails.

When it happens about the only thing you can do is change your
password for your email account since this is something that's
happening on the server end apparently.

It happened to my Yahoo account once - fortunately I had only a couple
of addresses in the contact list. It was weird when I found the sent
email in my Yahoo Sent folder - I knew I hadn't sent it and my
computer hadn't been on that day so it was definitely on the server
end.

Since I changed my password and removed the contacts, it's not
happened again. I have no contacts in my webmail accounts for them to
send an email to if they manage to break in again <g>
