Well, it looks like I am in trouble from the numerous replies I
received.... :-(

Since I am an old lady on Soc Sec, a new computer or $150 external hard
drive just doesn't fit in, so I am going to have to just save photos to
CD's and hope they last. No other choice at this point (but a good
suggestion to give my kids for my Christmas present...LOL).

I certainly appreciate the information I received from this list. I have a
much better understanding of what my computer is like.
