Ron: <<Legacy's Split Screen View does not allow transfers within the same file. Access will not permit it, and locks the file when it is first opened.>>
I don't think that applies to Legacy's ability to copy information from one person to another. In split screen, Legacy remembers the last saved individual information, and that can be applied to any other individual in either database. I just tried split screen with the same database in both, and copied my fathers death information in one view to me in the other view. My experience has been that there are no restrictions in using the last saved individual information screen anywhere.
