Actually, I think the pattern being seen is entirely consistent with the way 
Internet e-mail works.



As I understand it (and Sherry or Brian can correct me if I am wrong) the 
Legacy “news server” and the archives service are separate entities. Your note 
goes to the news server and distributed outwards from there. Some addresses 
receive it quickly, others more slowly. The archives is just another one of 
those addresses. So, it’s entirely possible that many people receive a post, 
but neither you, or me, or the archives have received it.

    I am glad that I am not the only one who gets some messages after the
