Sherry..maybe I used the wrong word... looking for a Ahnentafel Table with 2
columns one for the Paternal line and the other for the Maternal line with the
Ahnentafel numbering system with a divisional name of Parents 2 & 3 then
Grandparents 4 & 5 in one column and 6 & 7 in the other column. a very useful
over view at the beginning of each family listing. I love Legacy, but that
Table would be most helpful. Emily Anne Croom in her book Unpuzzling Your Past
has a good example -- also check ancestry.com on their rootsweb freepages it
shows the table that would be helpful for a quick overview of ancestors. thank
you much Richard

Take a look at the chart on the Ancestor tab in Reports. That's basic names,
dates and locations. What you're referring to is the book report, which is much
larger.

Ok I see what you mean....I can use it but will have to manually make my own
chart... it will help...take the name index as hard copy; write in the
Ahnentafel number; and then make my chart; etc.... I wanted to get away from
make 29 pages when a chart would do for 3 or 4 pages ...when I send to my
brother just that part of the report is 27 pages and my son-in-law it is 29
pages and that is without the notes; and with notes it runs over 100 pages for
both. It would be nice if you created in the reports, Charts. Thank you
