Length is the length of the roll ;)
OK and it prints across the 36" so siblings are under one another? Or does print sideways so you have to rotate the paper through 90 degrees in order to read it, ie the long sides are top and bottom? The first family tree I drew up by hand was on a roll of lining wallpaper. That went down the length of the roll because I couldn't gauge how far along the roll I'd need to go to make it all fit. A cousin, who worked for an architect, then drew it up on his firm's computer. It ended up 12ft long and just fitted on my living room wall. The whole tree is now over 80ft long. > If I go to a larger town they have 48" width plotters and a better > selection of stores. If they will print so it reads correctly along the length, the it would be worth investing in one, if only so I could print out a copy and find where I was missing information. > Just a tidbit, one can drive from one side of my town to another in 4.5 > miles. My town is about the same size, surrounded by fields and has a lousy selection of shops with good number empty. The nearest decent shopping centre is about 20 miles away but I'd most likely have to go up to London or order online. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Ashcott, Shapwick, Greinton and Clutton, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
