As you click on each person in the family, so their name is added to
the history list, add a marriage partner and the pair are entered.

The only time a name doesn't appear is when I use the "Add a new son"
or dau. As soon as I click on the son or dau to add a spouse, child,
other data, then that person will appear in the history list.

Just having the name of the person acts as an aide memoire. When I've
added all I can, then I delete the name from the history list.

The Fwrd button is to the right of the small down arrow - unless
you've customised the toolbar and taken it out or not added it. I've
customised my toolbar so I'm not sure what was originally there.

If you have no Fwrd button, right click in a blank space and you'll
find all the options you can have.
