Michelle, That is you perrogative if you choose not to list gay marriages. However, I strongly feel that it should be an option for those who choose otherwise. I am gay. My partner and I have been together for 39 years. I would love to be able to combine our genealogy into one file.
On a side note, the new Heredis has chosen to use the title of Partner rather then Husband/Wife. Also their software does not refuse to let you choose two Ms or two Fs. They are not making a statement for or against gay unions. They are giving the user the ability to choose how to record their information.
