Shared events I'm RM let's you link multiple people to an event.  I.E.
If you create a census event, you can handle it in one of two ways -

1) You create a census event for each family member listed on the census.
2) You create the census event for "The head of household".  You the
share the event with each family member listed on the census.  You can
indicate what each member's role on the census is.   You do not set up
the event individually for each member in the household.

Shared events works very similar (not exact) to setting up witnesses
in The Master Genealogist.
