I doubt that Marian only works on one project at a time. You can easily have
multiple projects going on at the same time. As you are waiting for documents
to arrive on one, you can be working on another! I will tell you that Marian
is a very nice person and you can send her an email and ask her yourself :)
Here is her blog http://rootsandrambles.blogspot.com/ You can also friend her
on Facebook.

Great question, Tim!
Great suggestion, Monique!
Great list of ideas, JL! --especially using the File ID to point to things
captures from internet - I have never used File ID because it looked like too
much work, but this could be the right situation.

Marian's webinar made me realize I really do need to keep track of what I've
already searched for, even if it's on one of those days I tool around
"aimlessly." Starting now, I will at least open a to-do item for the person
and at least log where I've searched.

On the other hand, Marian's webinar inspired me to define a research project
and FOCUS. Combined with her "Brick Wall" tips, I've already re-discovered a
fact for this project - I had forgotten this tidbit in all my jumping around
among ancestors.

The question I asked during the webinar, but did not receive an answer to:
Does Marian only work on one project at a time?

For now, I'm going to try get each "project" that is in progress at least
defined, on a new form or in a to-do. Better than scraps of paper and sticky
notes, right? ;)

I am looking FORWARD to being at the point where I'm waiting for documents to
arrive--!

I have a friend who swears by using Evernote for her online searches, positive
or negative. She is an excellent genealogist and has it synced to her phone.
