All messages should be in plain text (no viruses, smaller size).
Subscribers can adjust their own settings.
Likewise you should be able to control the way messages appear, both
whether they are in plain text and the colours.
Your message is showing:
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="utf-8"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
The quoted printable is making the question marks appear as
=C3 =A2 =E2 =82 =AC =E2 =80 =9C when I look at the source and makes my
email client ask to send in UTF-8 rather than Western ISO 8859-1 (I
added the spaces or the coding may not show depending on the charset used.
All my messages are purple on pale cream (I used semi skimmed milk,
not Jersey) but you won't see them like that. Lee may be sending his
messages in black on white but I don't see them that way.

I have some scissors available for anyone who's lost theirs which is,
presumably, why some messages don't get superfluous text snipped.
