I have found that in my local telephone book, it has the time zones for the
states. I also use it when contacting relatives in Europe, to call them at
their day time, instead of waking them up. Why try to memorize  the zones, I
put noon my time=what their time and/or noon their time = when I need to call.

That would help except for the fact that since I do not live in a time zone
like that I don't know the difference.  I don't need to know on a day to day
thing. So to know the difference between Arizona and central time I don’t know.
