First it took five minutes, second it makes a small list that is easy to work with when in the field, third it is very handy for other directories in Windows since Windows does not come with a "print directory" feature. Once created it is always there so for what ever reason you need a printout of a directory it is just a click away. It makes a powerful tool for Windows which should have been there from the start. Follow direction EXACTLY, you are messing with the registry in some these steps which is dangerous stuff. I name my photos with the record number such as "3495.jpg", 3495a.jpg, etc.where 3495 is the RIN in Legacy and the letter after the number is an additional picture of the same person, so I can easily find the pictures after I have scanned in several. In "My Computer" right click on the Pictures directory in C:\Legacy and select "Print Directory Listing", and be sure your printer is turned on. This will send a list of files in the directory to your printer. It works good for me.
