Hi again,

I'm using version 5 Deluxe.
And I still think it is the best of the best.
And I've been using genealogy software since
Roots II and CP/M in the mid 1980s.
But.
Here is what is happening with Legacy.
1. Henry Kirk is born in 1917 and I enter him into Legacy.
2. When I save, I'm asked whether he is Living or Dead.
There is no "?" as there is for sex. I enter "Yes".
3. I don't know if he is alive or dead as I just found him
on the internet as the son of ... long dead in Denmark.
4. Later I find his confirmation record and I enter that data.
5. Again I'm asked whether he is Living or Dead even thou
I have already listed him as living.
6. Later I find Henry has married and when I save his data,
again I'm asked whether he is Living or Dead.
7. Every time I open and save Henry's file, I'm asked again,
nag, nag, nag, and I don't really know if he is dead or alive.

Can I turn this nagger off?

On the 6th I asked here "Living or Dead", which to use and decided
to give the person life. But this has become a nuisance.

I've now changed Henry to Dead and the nuisance has gone away.
And from now on I'll pronounce all are dead when asked, unless
I know otherwise or have turned the nagger off.

JimS
