To be more specific... this is how I "copy" a citation... Add the Alt. Name event, as Michele suggests. (You might consider adding an Alt. Spelling event if that's closer to what these are.) Click on the person's source (little books) icon. Highlight the citation line for the AKA and click on the two-pages "copy source to clipboard" icon in the lower left to copy it to the clipboard. (NOTE: If you want what's already on the clipboard, go in and Save it, because this bit will overwrite that.) Then highlight the citation line for the Alt. Name event and click on the blue minus sign "add clipboard source to the current event" icon. Close that window. Then delete the AKA/alternate name.
