In response to your question: "Do you have passenger lists for leaving the
U.S. too?"
I wish I had those lists. So far, I haven't come across a resource for this
type of information.
Suggestions welcome.

If the family went back to Europe and returned with another family member,
I would enter an Immigration event for that family member. As for the rest
of the family, using the Travel event with the passenger list as my source
seems right.
