My question is how do I list the Surman Index as a NEW Master Source. Our Great Grandfather was a Congregational minister who was born and attended Bala College in Wales. His ministry is listed in the Surman Index that is located in Dr. Daniel Williams's Centre for Dissenting Studies, at 14 Gordon Square, London, England. (close to the British Library and the Senate House) The index includes the names of about 32,000 ministers, and, where known, their dates, details of their education, ministries or other employment, together with the sources used. It covers the period from the mid-seventeenth century to 1972, and though it focuses on England and Wales, it includes Congregational ministers serving abroad provided they trained or served as ministers in Britain.
