It is possible that when you were entering a source from the clipboard you clicked on the prompt for detail setting on the clipboard itself. That turns off the prompt for detail but does not reset the options > customize setting.
Once you turn off the prompt on the clipboard that setting stays in effect, even after you close and restart Legacy. To turn the prompt back on Open the clipboard using the Upward arrow on anyone's assigned sources screen In the bottom left turn the prompt for detail on.
