Every year or so, I export my Legacy file out to a Gedcom file and the
import it back in as a new file to review possible places where I have bad
data.
I am stumped by a new issue that I do not believe was an error before, in
that this particular bit of data was entered like 10 years ago and hasnt
really been touched or edited since.
(so why is it all of a sudden showing up as an error)
I have an event type called Social Security number
I have filled in only the Date of filing
and in the notes added the text
Listed address as 315 Seneca St. Seattle WA. John ADRIAN Wilpolt Listed DOB
March 11, 1894
and then attached the image of the record as a picture
The resulting lines in the Gedcom Legacy creates is;
1 SSN
2 DATE 27 Nov 1936
2 NOTE 1936 Applied for Social Security number. Listed address a
3 CONC s 315 Seneca S t. Seattle WA. Listed name as John ADRIAN Wi
3 CONC lpolt. Listed birth date as Ma rch 11, 1894
2 OBJE
3 FORM jpg
3 FILE

Is this happening because the event type is defaulting to the standard SSN
Event and that doesnt recognize dates and attached images?
Any advice would be appreciated.
