How are you selecting them for tagging? I presume you are not working on very many people at a time (just one family?) in which case I would I would have the family in view and just open each child in turn and click the required tag. You could also sort the Name List by surname order and pick out the names you wanted to tag, but this might require changing which 3 tags are visible if you want to use one which isn't one of the 3 showing. > > 2) Therefore when I create the list, everyone is shown twice (once as > the principal person, once as the spouse). Won't be a problem when only the required children are tagged. > > 3) I am still getting the PLACES of birth, death & marriage, which I > don't want. You must have selected those fields. After you've clicked Print click the Row 1 tag and check only the fields you want to display. You might need to click Customise to get the fields you want to use. With just a few fields you probably won't need to use Row 2 or Row 3 so just check those tabs to make sure no fields are selected there. > > 4) I want the children listed in chronological order, but they are > listed in alphabetical order. Unfortunately I don't think that's possible within Legacy but once you've got the list you want you can select to print to CSV and then open the resulting file in your spreadsheet program where it will be easy to sort as you want. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
