Ok, I have a g.grandfather who was adopted and raised by another family, he has a different surname than the family that adopted him. He married the 1st cousin of this family. I found his biological parents names and linked him to the biological parents. When I saw that I had duplicates, I deleted the bio parents and linked him back to the adopted parents. I still have duplicates, So that is why I think that my g.grandfather is the cause of having duplicates.
