Exactly where should the BOLD show up? I've just done what you described below.
The relationships show up properly, I've gone to Options/Customize where there are further instructions about setting direct line in bold, but the only report that shows my line in bold is the Ancestor report. The family screen doesn't have any names in bold that I can see. I have no descendants so that doesn't apply.
