When you create an event the first time including source citation, then look on the right-hand side of the event window under the Help button. You should see two icons. Click on the left icon which will copy the entire event including sources.
When you open a new event for the next person, then click on the right icon in the empty window to past the previous event which you copied into the person’s event. Then save. Give it a try. From: T. I want to be able to create a single event -- a specific residence at a particular time -- and then link that residence event to multiple persons, such as each member of a family. Is it possible to do this? What I have been doing up to now is to add the event in each person's information page, and repeating this process for each person. It's getting tedious! For example, for a family with ten members, I have to add the same residence event ten times, once for each member. There's got to be a better way to do this! FYI, I am using Legacy version 7.0.0.109. Thanks!
