If your good tree is all connected, you can use Tree Finder, select your
tree and export it, and junk the rest of the file. Just worry about the one
big tree.

If the ones you want to get rid of have been disconnected (unlinked)
from your main tree, then use: View > Tree Finder to see all the
unconnected trees in your family file. Note that you should
"refresh" this list every time you use it. In Tree Finder you can
select whole trees and Tag all the individuals contained in each.
Then by going to Advanced Deleting you can delete everyone that has
that tag set.
