Using Windows XP and LFT Version 5.
A couple of months ago, when I last added an Event to an Individual and
connected it to a Source (by Cite a Master Source),
the window; Assigned Sources for: Xxxxx Bbbbb showed an entry for
Events/SourceListName/Detail (as expected).
Yesterday I noticed that when I add an Event to an Individual and then Cite a
Master Source, it looked abnormal.
Although the SourceListName and Detail boxes were filled, the Event box was
NOT. Even though the Event/ Fact box was filled in when creating the Event.
It so happens that the first/top of the long list of Events is: Event
(Birth), SourceListName (Ancestors of ...) Detail (page 30). When highlighting
my new Event (which should be Land, but is blank), and looking at the Summary
below, it says "Birth 4 Jan 1800 VA", not "Land..." . The Author, Title, Publ.
Facts, Text, etc are correct. I guess this is the result of a blank Event box.
But there are more consequences.
When Previewing an Individual Report for Xxxxx Bbbbb, the Events correctly
starts with "1. He was born....", and shows superscript 1 (correctly) but ALSO
2 (my Land Source). At Event 18 "He owned land....." there is no subscript for
its Source Citation, but there should be. Finally, on the last page of the
Report, Source Citations: Citation 1" Ancestors of...."appears correctly.
Citation 2 "Land Abstract...." verbage is correct; however this Citation should
be labeled 43 ( after the previous 42 Citations).
I suspect that my Version 5 has been damaged somehow. Can I download a 'clean'
Version 5 from Millenia?
