Mother and Father Relationships can be sourced where the child is no a biological child, examples are adoption papers as sources. Where a father has adopted children of the mother from a prior marriage, the relationship to father is adopted, to the mother biological. If both parents are not the biological parent the relationship to both is adopted.
Child Status is for things such as stillborn or twins. Both settings/entries are made by right clicking on a child in family view and selecting Children's Settings.
