Thank you Lloyd, I had to ask in order to make sure that we are not
comparing apples and pears. We are not, and with my set up, using the same
Detailed Search it is working fine for me, and from Jenny's comments, I
guess for her also.

If you are certain that there is no error in spellings etc. then I am rather
at a loss to suggest what the problem maybe. Certainly using Detailed Search
for an individual where Event-Notes contains your phrase should produce
results. You could try File>File Maintenance>Check/Repair, but to be honest
I am not very confident that it will do anything. There are instances where
using search (a) followed by AND search (b) may not produce the result one
is looking for but I think not in this case.
