And I probably should have added that in this day of multiple mobile devices, you are bound to run into one of these misguided, mis-encoded messages. There is no way that you can decipher it (at least no way without a million dollars worth of sophisticated equipment or knowledge). So in such cases, you should just ignore it and wait for the sender to realize the mistake and resend the message properly. In other words, just consider it "no harm, no foul".
