Jenny and Ron, I'm trying to find all my Newspaper events where I have not have an event description
Individual Event-Name Equal-to Newspaper And Event-Description "Equal to" (i.e. there is no description, left blank, as Jenny suggested). would find only those that had a description. I did the Access/OpenOffice/Libra workaround to find the event number from the tblER, sorted the tblET by ER, then put XX in the Description field. Then did Search with Event-Description Equal to XX Sledge hammer approach, but madly trying to clean up my data. Thanks Ron and Jenny :) Margaret On 16 February 2013 22:12, Jenny M Benson <[email protected]> wrote: > On 16/02/2013 08:44, Margaret Turner wrote: >> I am trying to search for >> Individual Event-Name Equal-to Newspaper >> And >> Event-Description is a null (i.e. there is no description). >> >> Any help would be appreciated. > > > Just leave the "content" field blank for the Event Description. > -- > Jenny M Benson > > > > Legacy User Group guidelines: > http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp > Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp > Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on > our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com). > To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp > > Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
