Brian, You might try exporting a segment of the file to another Legacy database. You could take Abraham and his ancestry for 10 generations and work on just that part to reduce the numbers. Then the 250 max should work to point out the situation. If it still has endless loop, then you have someone who is their own grandfather. Ron Taylor
