I think that if one were to run the "Test all Multimedia Paths" and make sure 
there is a check mark in the "Make a list of all missing files", then that list 
will state specifically from where Legacy has linked the missing file. For 
example, it might say Event, Source, or whatever.

The missing file might not be linked directly to the person but is linked to 
one of their events or to a source that is linked to that person.

Pictures for the person's events do not appear directly in their photo gallery 
but on the right of the thumbnails you will see Individual with a down arrow, 
click that and you will see a list of other categories (events). If there is an 
asterisk * beside that category there are pictures linked to that category. 
Select it and you will see the media linked to the category.

For media linked to the person's sources you will have to open their source 
list. Sources with pictures will have an asterisk in the picture tab label. 
Select the tab to see the pictures.
