When you have linked the couple, they must be different genders Legacy does not support same-gender couples, Open their marriage. On the Marriage screen you can indicate that the couple did not marry. On the wording options tab you can set the wording used by Legacy for this union in reports. On the bottom of the marriage screen you can set the married name(s) used by the couple.
