Hi Sherry,

It was the save on exit option, that I was asking about.  The program has
been saving automatically for years, but when I checked, the box was unchecked.
Mystery solved!  Thanks so much Sherry!  :-D

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing
to work and give to those who would not.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."

"If men through fear, fraud or mistake, should in terms renounce and give up
any essential natural right, the eternal law of reason and the great end of
society, would absolutely vacate such renunciation; the right to freedom being
the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of Man to alienate this gift,
and voluntarily become a slave."

Your data is saved when you click "Save" on the edit window that you're in.

If you're referring to backing up the Family File, the reminder only
pops up when you have made changes to the data in the Family File.

If you have somehow turned off the pop-up reminder, go to Options >
Customize .> Other  and click on the 'Turn On or Off Optional Reminder
Messages".  The back up prompt is in the Prompts/Reminders tab.

Sincerely,
Sherry
