Connie,

Legacy must be installed on the computer where you wish to use the program.

Some people have successfully installed Legacy and ran it from their
external hard drive, but only as long as the drive is connected to the
computer used for installing Legacy.

Legacy needs to have entries in the registry and some system files
either installed or updated on the computer.

You can save your data and multimedia files to the external drive and
access them from there, if you wish. Just make sure you have a good
file structure and I'd recommend that you create a Legacy folder with
Docs, Pictures, Sounds and Videos subfolders to store your multimedia
files in and a Legacy/Data folder for your Legacy files.

Sincerely,
Sherry
