I have a Basic Source called "Web site" which I use for this sort of item. There are no other details in the Master Source, it all goes into the Source Detail.
In the Source Detail / Detail Information I would put something like: Facebook, post from David Peterson 20 Aug 2010 And in the Text/Comments tab I'd quote the actual post, if I felt it was relevant, eg: Nan's Funeral is to be held Tomorrow. Tuesday 21st August @ 12pm Noon.... At the Anglican Christ Church on Kamo Road If I was going to be more pedantic I might make the reference to Facebook more precise (which I have done sometimes, and other times I haven't bothered). The important thing to remember is that there are a variety of ways to record these things, as has been demonstrated in the replies you've received to your query. Decide what you want, how you want it to appear, and work with that.
