Morning Geoff, One of my big hang-ups, with Legacy, is that I am unable to use my critical "house-address information" contained in a RM place field format of:
Description, City, County, State, Country Right now Legacy 7 will print: City, County, State, Country but places the Description Information into a Legacy variable called "Address". I have tried to use "Address" in various Legacy reports; but can find no listing, in Legacy, on what variable to use to include the critical Legacy "Address" information. This compatibility problem shows up when you try to import a RootsMagic Gedcom into Legacy. Legacy strips the RM variable "Description" information and places it in a modified Legacy format called "Address". Clear to me; but if you need further information don't be "bashful". <g> Later, David in Mesa, Arizona From: [email protected] Date: Wed, 5 Jun 2013 09:31:40 -0600 Subject: [LegacyUG] Surprise during today's webinar To: [email protected] I wanted you - our loyal LUGers - to be the very first to hear about my first-ever sneak-peak at Legacy 8 which will be shown during the introduction of today's webinar by Marian Pierre-Louis. It won't be much, but will be the start of a slow and steady preview of what's coming. And...I'm certain it will be a good webinar so stick around for it also. Register at www.familytreewebinars.com.
