Thanks Sherry, this appears to be a global setting as well as other
families now show half siblings in family view.  I eventually found this
instruction in the help menu under *Multiple and Single Parents* >
Multiple and Single Parents *Setting Family View****Status Options*, in
the results from a search query "viewing half siblings in family view".
The solution was in the 4th ranked from 5 results, just means that you
need to check them all!
